LIVE IN THE '' NOW '' MOMENT !


I will start this article with a beautiful quote by Buddha.“The secret of health for both mind and body is not to mourn for the past, worry about the future, but to live in the present moment wisely and earnestly.” 

To live in the moment or now means to be conscious, aware and live in the present with all of your heart, mind and the senses. It means to not think about or dwell on the past, nor be anxious or worry about the future.

When we give our attention to the present, or now, we focus on the task,project or a situation at hand. We give our full attention to what we are doing and we are putting all our positive energies into it and this automatically has positive and fruitful results.

Live in the NOW for now is all that is in our hands,past is gone forever, and future still unseen..Make your now beautiful do when the future comes,you can say ,Yes!! I have lived and I have lived it well.

Seizing each moment in our lives allows us to prolong its value and make it more meaningful. Rather than seeking quantity of time, when we live in the moment we enjoy and savor every minute.

To make every moment count we must embrace it. Everything we do and every person we come in contact with deserves our full attention. Even when resting we should savor the moment. It gives us the opportunity to recharge, renew and gain clarity.Live ,love and enjoy !!

Once I read in Dale Carnegie's book 'HOW TO STOP WORRYING AND START LIVING' that we should live in day-tight compartments.Live from the sunrise till bed time and enjoy each and every minute of it.don't think of tomorrow.Spend your each day beautifully from morning till bed time and count your blessings.Live in the Present only,it is a gift, a blessing of God ,live it and love it.Live your full potential.



 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

   Tips for living in the moment :

*Keep any thoughts of the past or the future at bay.

* Train your mind to focus on the current activity.

*Feel thankful and be happy for whatever you are receiving  at every moment.

* Enjoy every minute of your present.

* Learn  to relax and to think of only what lies at hand.

*Adopt the habit to be present in each moment.

*Focus your mind on what you are doing at the moment.

*Listen to some music for meditation  to clear your mind and bring it to your present.
 

* Take notice of your surroundings - sights, sounds, smells and appreciate them.
 

* Listen attentively to the conversation of  others,music,even silence.

* Savor your food and drink.

*Enjoy every sense,taste,smell and sight.

Benefits of living in the moment :

* You become more connected with your thoughts and feelings.

*You will get outside a lot more often.


* Are more connected to others.


* Feel more gratitude and enjoyment of life. 

 

*You become a source of joy to others.  

 

*Because you live only once,so live it now.


* If you live in the moment, it won't pass you by.

 
* Feel more focused, peaceful and
alive.

 
* Feel less anxious and fearful.


Like all skills, training yourself to enjoy and live in the moment takes time and practice. Begin now and see life from a fresh, new perspective.You will love it !!
